“Let’s Talk About Power!”

With a myriad of filmmakers from around the world, we will explore where power lies and how power can be shared when we start to understand our past and present. We will talk about decolonisation, restorative storytelling and the struggle to find your own place.


Morayo is a BIFA and BAFTA nominated writer and director. The BFI.NETWORK funded her debut short film, tense period drama 1745 – in which she also starred.

1745 was nominated for Best Short Film at the British Independent Film Awards 2017 and the BAFTA Awards 2017. Morayo won Best Screenplay Award at the Underwire Film Festival 2017.

She is an Edinburgh International Film Festival 2017 Talent Lab Alumni and was one of the 17 participants selected for the BFI London Film Festival Talent Lab Network 2017. She directed her first short film Rock Paper Scissors 2019 in Tokyo, Japan which premiered at BAFTA qualifying film festival Underwire.
